The IET History of Technology Technical Professional Network- a community for the growth and exchange of knowledge in the history of science, engineering and technology.
The Australian Science Archives Project. ASAP preserves and catalogues collections relating to all aspects of science and technology in Australia, and produces guides and lists which can be ordered over the web. Their very comprehensive site includes biographical information, exhibitions and a Virtual Library with lots of links to other sites.
Defence Electronics History Society (DEHS)- formerly the Friends of the Centre for the History of Defence Electronics (CHiDE). They have a growing relationship with the Defence College of Management and Technology (DCMT) and Cranfield University at the Defence Academy of the United Kingdom, Shrivenham.
IEEE History Center The Center aims to preserve, research and promote the history of information and electrical technologies.
Institute of Historical Research- provides resources for historians including online articles and event advertising.
The Institute of Railway Studies, York - a collaboration between the National Railway Museum and the University of York.
The National Archive for the History of Computing.The NAHC is part of The Centre for the History of Science, Technology and Medicine at Manchester university.
The National Cataloguing Unit for the Archives of Contemporary Scientists- catalogues and advises on the personal and working papers of individuals in all branches of science and technology.
The Software History Center, a research project aiming to collect information about historic computer software, up to around 1980 - an area which has been neglected in the history of computing. Also maintains links to other sites.
History of Computing site at the Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University. A very comprehensive site with biographies, details of historic machines and lots of links.
Scientific Instrument Society- formed in 1983 to bring together those with an interest in scientific instruments, ranging from precious antiques to electronic devices.
